This feature on the Read and Write for Google toolbar allows students to practice and record themselves reading the selected text. It offers the user the ability to use the support tools in the function and, allows them to listen to their recording. Once the user has recorded their practice read aloud they can send it to their teacher for feedback.

This feature in Read and Write for Google is a function that can support students who have difficulty with fluency, cadence, and accuracy of their reading. Students can benefit from this tool because it offers the chance for the student to practice what they are reading. It gives the student the opportunity to hear what they sound like when they read. Students will connect with the material they are reading when they can hear what they sound like. It provides them with the ability to understand what their fluency and accuracy sound like when they are reading to others. It is a valuable exercise for the student to practice the skills.
